55th Anniversary of HK Joint Council for People with Disabilities & the 40th Anniversary of Rehabus

Presented by the 55th Anniversary of Hong Kong Joint Council for People with Disabilities and the 40th Anniversary of Rehabus: Launching Ceremony of the “Inclusive Shops Charter Scheme” cum “Tugging Rehabus Charity Challenge”

To celebrate the 55th Anniversary of Hong Kong Joint Council for People with Disabilities and the 40th Anniversary of Rehabus, we are going to organize the Launching Ceremony on the “Inclusive Shops Charter Scheme” and “Tugging Rehabus Charity Competition”. Companies and organizations are invited to support the celebration events to demonstrate the joint effort for an inclusive society.

“Inclusive Shops Charter Scheme”

The Hong Kong Joint Council for People with Disabilities is going to implement the “Inclusive Shops Charter Scheme”. We expect shops of different business will participate in the scheme and pledge to provide disability friendly services. All the information of the Inclusive Shops will be uploaded to the organizer’s website.

“Tugging Rehabus Charity Challenge”

To celebrate the 55th Anniversary of Hong Kong Joint Council for People with Disabilities and the 40th Anniversary of Rehabus, we are going to organize the Launching Ceremony on the “Inclusive Shops Charter Scheme” and “Tugging Rehabus Charity Challenge”.  Companies and organizations are invited to support the celebration events to demonstrate the joint effort for an inclusive society.

Companies and organizations may also support the events by donations. After deduction of the event expenses, all the registration fees and donations will be used to implement the “Inclusive Shops Charter Scheme”.

“Tugging Rehabus Charity Challenge”

Time:  10:00am

Venue : Piazza of Hong Kong Cultural Centre

Content: Companies or organizations can form teams of 5-15 persons to pull the Rehabus

Registration Fee:  HK$20,000

Celebration ceremony cum Launching ceremony on the “Inclusive Shops Charter Scheme”

The launching and celebration ceremony will be held on 11 May 2019 at 2:30pm at the Piazza of Hong Kong Cultural Centre.  The Secretary for Labour and Welfare, Dr LAW Chi-kwong, GBS, JP, will officiate at the ceremony.
